Rules of Conduct

SCS F1 Racing (“Straight Corner Super F1 Racing”) is a friendly league for all skills, ages, race and genders. So be nice, don’t abuse other players and help each other to gain skill and have fun.

No swearing, name-calling or intimidation of other members will be tolerated. Racism in any form will be dealt with in a firm way.
In case of multiple infringements you will be kicked or banned form the league indefinitely.

In light of the situations we encountered recently we have decided that we need to implement a stricter policy.
Even as we understand emotions can run high, we will enforce the rules of conduct and implement a three strike policy.

1: A warning will be issued and the posts will be removed
2: If further action is needed, a final warning will be issued and the member will get a time out for a period we see fit.
3: If after the time out the member still cant follow the rules of conduct the member will be banned from the league.

Although we do believe in member input, this league is not a democracy. There are ways in place to reach us without ranting in general chats.
Suggestions and complaints can be brought to us in the channel designated for that (#suggestions complains) , but that is NOT a discussion channel.

If a mod asks you to stop a certain discussion, that is what you do. If not a warning will be issued and the three strike rule will start.
If you are a repetitive offender of our rules of conduct, strike 1 will be skipped, and you might get a direct final warning or even an instant ban.

If somebody is abusing or intimidating you in any way, let us know and don’t react on it. Although it might take some time, we will handle it.

Typically reports and defense on reports may be starting fires when many people are reacting and putting their view in. Although expressing your view is allowed, we will not allow discussions in the report and defense sections for the Divisions. Reports and defenses on reports will be handled by the stewards. If needed they will ask for additional info, views or statements.

To get a clear view on reporting and defenses we would like you to use the formats provided.

Format for Report:
Driver reported: @reported_driver
Race: race number or location
Race-lap: lap in the race the incident occured
Report: description of what happened and what you would like to be done
Proof: link or snip of the race showing the accident. A video is preferred

Format for defense or view:
Driver who created the report: @reported_driver
Race: race number or location
Race-lap: lap in the race the incident occurred
Defense: if applicable, the defense from the reported driver
or
View: if applicable, the view from any driver that wants to express his or hers view
Proof: link or snip of the race showing the accident (if available)

If a discussion occurs outside the above mentioned formats, and that discussion continues after a warning has been given, a (temporary) “mute” role will be added to members that do not comply which will mute them for all channels for as long as the mods see fit.

Happy racing everyone!
